Objective

To train Robotics Engineers who can apply their scientific, technical and socio-cultural knowledge to design, manufacture, and maintain automated systems and production equipment, project, start up and maintain industrial plants in operation. Research and implement new technologies. Create and manage micro, small and medium enterprises in the area of automation and manufacturing that allows them to integrate into the productive activity, satisfying the technological, social, economic, and cultural needs, promoting sustainable development and the rational use of new technologies, environmental care, and professional ethics, to contribute to the development of society and technological independence of the country, as well as to the labor dynamics of the field at the international level.

Candidate's Profile

  • Knowledge of physical and mathematical sciences.
  • Reading fluency and comprehension, oral and written expression skills.
  • Logical reasoning
  • Handling and application of information formulated in diverse graphic, symbolic and computational languages, as well as reading comprehension in English.
  • Manual skills for laboratory work with specialized instruments.
  • Willingness for self-learning.
  • Creativity to solve new situations and solve problems.
  • Willingness to work in teams.
  • Responsibility, respect, honesty, and social solidarity.

Graduate's profile

At the end of his career, the graduate will be able to base and apply the scientific and technological knowledge as well as the skills, attitudes, and values necessary for the exercise of his profession for the benefit of society and the development of the nation:

  • Design, maintain and build devices, equipment, and machines of industrial robotics engineering.
  • Project design and put into operation plants and systems that integrate industrial robotics engineering equipment.
  • Research, adapt, and build new technologies and knowledge.
  • Plan, organize, organize, advise and manage manufacturing and maintenance service companies in industrial robotics engineering.
  • To apply national, international, and industrial technical, legal, ethical, ecological, hygiene and safety standards inherent to industrial robotics engineering.
  • To instruct and train various personnel in the branches of industrial robotics engineering.
  • To understand, apply and develop the basic scientific, technical, and socio-economic principles of industrial robotics engineering.
