Description
The purpose of the Technician in Environmental Diagnosis and Improvement is to prepare professional technicians who have the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary and sufficient to carry out diagnoses of environmental problems that arise in the labor, professional and social fields.

- Applies basic and general knowledge about meteorological parameter measuring instruments.
- Applies basic and general knowledge of physicochemical and bacteriological analysis, as well as the main processes of wastewater treatment and water purification.
- Applies basic and general knowledge about environmental control and soil contaminants.
- Applies basic knowledge for the exploitation of technology in communications and data analysis.
- Use of measuring equipment to determine the levels of contamination in a given place.
- Use of measuring instruments to know the different meteorological parameters.
- Use of laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Use of equipment and techniques for soil sampling and solutions to soil problems.

- Elaboration and monitoring of environmental management plans and programs.
- Investigation of environmental, atmospheric, soil, and hydrological phenomena.
- Consulting, advice, and training in environmental matters within any productive process or real estate development.
- Environmental diagnosis for the knowledge of the current environmental situation and implementation of actions related to the creation of an environmental management system.
- Sampling with specific techniques according to regulations.
