Created in 1961 by President Decree, CINVESTAV is a decentralised public organization body with its own legal personality and resources. The founder, Dr. Arturo Rosenblueth, promoted a high level of academic demand, resulting in the success of the institution.
There are 28 research departments distributed in 9 campuses in Mexico.
