Objective

To train high-level professionals in the field of tourism who contribute to the economic, social, and political development of the nation, with comprehensive training that allows them to know and understand the set of circumstances and natural, social, cultural, economic, and political conditions in which tourism activity is developed, and to be able to propose solutions using research as an element for the generation of knowledge in tourism and practice for its application, dissemination, and transfer, always based on values such as quality, responsibility, tolerance, and social commitment.

Candidate's Profile

KNOWLEDGE

Desirable characteristics in the applicant are:

  • Intermediate knowledge of mathematics, accounting, and administrative processes.
  • Minimum TOEFL level of 350 in English or its equivalent in French. Basic computer skills.
  • Critical and reflective reading.
  • Oral and written communication skills commensurate with the level of higher education.
  • Habits of research, creativity and study.
  • Interest in the development and welfare of the country, state and municipal entities.
