Objective

To train through an academic program with mobility and flexible teaching modalities, competent psychology professionals capable of: evaluate the states of psychological functioning of individuals through obtaining indicators of personality, cognitive - social, emotional skills and social, academic and occupational competencies; encourage and promote the psychological well-being of the individual, institutions and the community in general; prevent and treat alterations in psychological states and processes that impact mental health, educational processes and organizations, as well as scientifically investigate human behavior in order to respond to the demands of society involving human behavior and its bio-psycho-social processes in diverse, complex and changing scenarios according to the disciplinary field and technological advances and innovations.

Graduate's profile

Professional in psychology with theoretical and technical-methodological knowledge, as well as with skills, attitudes and values that enable him/her to carry out with a sense of responsibility, social commitment and in multi- and interdisciplinary work: the evaluation of the states of psychological functioning of individuals through the obtaining of personality indicators, cognitive - social - emotional skills and social, academic and labor competencies; the promotion and encouragement of the psychological well-being of the individual, institutions and the community in general; the prevention and treatment of alterations in psychological states and processes that impact mental health, educational processes and organizations; as well as, the basic and technological research of human behavior that generates sustainable scientific knowledge.

The requirements to become a student at the Institute are:
