Program / Master in Applied Biotechnology

Program objectives

The objective of the master’s program in Applied Biotechnology is to train and consolidate professionals in the areas of agronomy, chemistry, biology, and related engineering, interested in continuing their academic training and in receiving preparation to enter the field of scientific research and development of biotechnology. During the program, these professionals are encouraged to develop basic and applied research skills in the various branches of biotechnology. Likewise, they will acquire the formal, collaborative, and competitive methodological tools that will allow them to identify and apply the results of their research in the generation, development, and improvement of processes and products, and boost their creativity to innovate products and processes conducive to the progress of agribusiness.
