Through certification, students gain access to mobility programs in countries such as France and Switzerland.
The auditorium of the Centro de Lenguas Extranjeras (CENLEX), Zacatenco Unit, at the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN), hosted a meaningful academic ceremony to present the official Diplomas in French Language Studies (DELF).
Held on September 25, the event brought together students, faculty members, and institutional authorities to recognize the effort, perseverance, and commitment of those who have advanced in their French language learning journey.
In this edition, diplomas were awarded for levels A1, B1, and B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), reflecting both the linguistic development and the sustained dedication of candidates in mastering the language.
The DELF diploma is an official certification issued by the French Ministry of National Education, validating the recipient’s proficiency in oral and written comprehension and expression. Mastery of French not only provides access to diverse cultures but also serves as a strategic asset for academic training, scientific research, and professional growth.
Through its certification and international cooperation programs, the IPN actively promotes foreign language learning as a means to broaden the integral education and global opportunities of its students.
In particular, the DELF certification—made possible through the joint efforts of the IPN, the Embassy of France in Mexico, and Campus France—enables students to participate in academic mobility programs in French-speaking countries such as France, Canada, Belgium, and Switzerland. These initiatives strengthen the international scope of polytechnic education and foster high-impact academic and personal experiences.
By awarding the DELF diplomas, CENLEX Zacatenco not only celebrates the individual achievements of its students but also reaffirms its institutional commitment to training competent citizens who are prepared to face the challenges of an increasingly globalized world.
This ceremony represents yet another step in consolidating the IPN’s position as a key actor in the internationalization of higher education in Mexico.
