IPN Signs Collaboration Agreement with Patronato Corazón Guinda y Blanco

• IPN Director General Arturo Reyes Sandoval emphasized that this partnership will help create more and better opportunities for young people, especially those most in need.

• The Patronato is a nonprofit civil association dedicated to supporting the IPN community and promoting social progress across the country.

The Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN) and the nonprofit civil association Corazón Guinda y Blanco A.C. have signed a General Collaboration Agreement to strengthen support for IPN students through various educational and social initiatives.

Corazón Guinda y Blanco A.C. is a nonprofit organization committed to advancing social progress in Mexico by providing sustained support to the IPN community. Its mission focuses on promoting education, research, culture, and human development by encouraging contributions and donations that foster equity, knowledge, and the overall well-being of society.

During the signing ceremony, IPN Director General Arturo Reyes Sandoval stated: “The work of Corazón Guinda y Blanco ensures that we can continue to grow and meet the challenges of a nation striving to offer more and better educational opportunities for young people—especially those who need them most.”

He encouraged the entire Politécnico community to join this new phase and collaborate with the Foundation, emphasizing that its success will reflect the success of the IPN itself.

On behalf of the Patronato, Ana María Arrona González, Head of the Operating Directorate of the Board of Trustees, highlighted that the collaboration will support new strategic projects such as acquiring infrastructure to enhance learning, improving science equipment, and providing resources for educational programs.

“We want our efforts to become a driving force for academic excellence, cutting-edge

research, and positive community impact,” she added.

The signing ceremony was attended by directors and heads of IPN schools and research centers, as well as IPN’s General Counsel, Marx Ortiz Correa, among other institutional representatives.

From the Patronato, attendees included: Claudia Islas Sánchez, Head of Administration and Finance, Norma Alicia Ramírez Palacios, Head of Technical Coordination and Promotion, Julio Alberto Santibáñez Luna, Legal Affairs Coordinator, and Dulce María Monroy Becerril, Trustee of the Foundation.
