The Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN) is presenting its Higher Education academic offerings, which include 83 academic programs in engineering and physical-mathematical sciences, biomedical sciences, and social and administrative sciences, at Expo Profesiográfica 2025 for Higher Education. The event will take place from today until February 23, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, at the esplanade of the "Jaime Torres Bodet" Cultural Center, commonly known as "El Queso," in Zacatenco.
This annual exhibition is one of the most anticipated events for young individuals aspiring to join the IPN, Mexico's leading institution for scientific and technological education. The IPN now offers unique programs in the country, such as Engineering in Meteorology, Artificial Intelligence, Photonics, Railway Systems, Energy Systems and Smart Networks, and Urban Mobility, among others.
This was highlighted by the institution's Secretary-General, Mauricio Igor Jasso Zaranda, during the inaugural declaration. He emphasized that every program offered at IPN is designed to train highly skilled and competitive professionals capable of addressing new national and international challenges.
He added that the IPN is an institution that prepares students to face future challenges while providing them with the necessary tools to achieve professional success through a highly qualified faculty, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and a student community committed to Mexican society. "I invite you to become part of the Polytechnic community, where high standards go hand in hand with comprehensive training. Our graduates are recognized by employers not only in Mexico but also beyond our borders for their high level of competencies and their ability to adapt to the constant changes in the labor market," he emphasized.
IPN's Academic Secretary, Ismael Jaidar Monter, noted that attendees will have the opportunity to obtain firsthand key information on employability, admission profiles, semester duration, and the exhibition of various prototypes developed in each academic unit.
He pointed out that at the Higher Education Expo Profesiográfica, under the motto "No Limits with Imagination, Technology, and Innovation," attendees will have free access to the admission exam simulator. This tool is designed to familiarize applicants with fundamental aspects of the exam, such as format, thematic content, question distribution, and time management.
Additionally, visitors will be able to take an electronically administered vocational guidance test to help them identify their skills and strengths, facilitating the selection of the academic program best suited to their profile.
"With these initiatives, we hope your experience at Expo Profesiográfica 2025 will be enriching and that you find the IPN the best option for your professional training. Remember that the career you choose will be a way to contribute to the greatness of our country," he concluded.
